The telephone is the prime selling tool and you will have a great fondness for this old but essential aid. From day one you will focus wholly on the selling process and use the tools of trade as a great opportunity to create income. The role is fully remote for the foreseeable future and it doesn’t matter too much where you’re based as calibre is more important than location. You’ll need to be in the office from time to time but mostly you’ll be spending your time in front of clients and creating opportunities for consistent growth.

About you

You will need to be a self-motivated and charismatic individual with strong business development experience, ideally gained in the vehicle and/or auction sectors. At least 10 years business-to-business sales experience is essential for success in this opportunity. You will need to be confident in winning new business and converting prospective opportunities to committed partnerships. You will need a proven track record in business development and the ability to target a relevant network, be analytical, have excellent project management and written skills and follow up on the implementation of initiatives.

Ability to work in a dynamic, structured and result driven environment is a must. You will need to be able to work with all levels of staff to ensure that our business development effort is of the highest quality. The role will involve extensive business travel to meet with clients, albeit may be based on virtual meetings for the immediate future.
